Empowering Canadians to challenge barriers

"Difficulties with sidewalks and wait lines are the most commonly cited barriers in public spaces." 2022 Canadian Survey on Disability. Fact overlaid on an image of a broken sidewalk in the summer that merges with an image of a snow-covered Montreal sidewalk

The Race to the Starting Line is meant to serve as a catalyst for widespread engagement and advocacy.

To support this, I have created an online platform where Canadians can share what they are currently doing or planning to do in their communities to break down the many barriers to accessibility.

I urge all Canadians to join this effort, share their initiatives, and contribute to making our country more inclusive for everyone. Together, we can ensure that every individual, regardless of ability, has the opportunity to fully participate in our society.
